Raluca Maria Aileni is a Scientific Researcher 2nd Degree, Project Manager and Head of the Research Department in Materials Engineering and Textile Processes of INCDTP. She holds two Bachelor's Degrees in Textile Engineering and Computer Science, respectively two Master of Engineering Degrees in Design from TUIASI and Politehnica University of Bucharest in the areas of Design and Medical Electronics and Informatics. She holds 2 Doctoral Degrees in Industrial Engineering (TUIASI), respectively in Electronics and Telecommunication. Currently, she is involved in 3rd Master's program in Mathematics and Computer Science. She was a member of the Technical Program Committees of
several conferences (CloudTech 2018-2023, HPCS 2018, IC4S 2021, IEEE Sensors 2015-2023) and member of the Reviewer Board or Reviewer for more than 32 peer-reviewed journals (Magnetochemistry, Signals, Energy, Sensors, Symmetry MDPI, Textile Research Journal, Journal of Industrial Textiles, Journal of Electronics Materials, IEEE Sensors, etc.).
With a specialization in Engineering Project Management and more than 10 years of professional experience in planning, organizing, developing, executing, managing and evaluating of entrepreneurship projects and programs. I started my professional career as coordinator of a program to support the generation and development of business ideas, called IdeaLab – Laboratory of Business Ideas. In addition, I realized the operational management of programs and projects from the idea ignition phase to the start-up of companies with an innovation/differentiation character. I also provided mentoring and consultancy in terms of developing business ideas/business projects, advising on the best support for financing, incubation and creation of companies/spin-offs, elaboration and improvement of business plans. Currently, I collaborate in the management of the area for the digital transition in the Digital Transition Department of Citeve.
Samuel Carvalho is a PhD Student at the SFI funded "Automatic Design of Digital Circuits (ADDC)" project, currently based in both the University of Limerick (UL) and the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), Limerick, Ireland. Samuel holds a Master of Engineering Degree from TUS in the area of Machine Learning, as well as an Automation and Control Engineering Degree (Hons.) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG, Brazil). His previous experiences are mostly based in higher education institutions in both Ireland and Brazil, working at research, innovation, lecturing and research support activities in the areas of Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Industry 4.0 Technologies, Programming, Electronics and IT.
